The Institute of Enzymology is one of the six institutes of the Research
Centre for Natural Sciences of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences.
Our mission is to conduct world-class scientific research in the fields of:
- Functional genomics
- Membrane biology
- Bioinformatics
- Structural biophysics
In addition, the Institute
- is involved in higher
education (both at graduate and post-graduate levels),
- maintains data bases and servers for a broad international user community
