EMBO-IUP  The workshop provided a forum for discussing the fact that many proteins, or protein domains, lack a well-defined 3D structure under native conditions, and can be described as being natively unfolded or intrinsically unstructured/disordered.

AVH workshop To promote exchange of young researchers in molecular structural biology across Europe, an international workshop was held in the Mátra mountains funded by the Alexander von Humboldt-Stiftung.
 
European School in Bioinformatics Print E-mail
European School in Bioinformatics The BioSapiens Network of Excellence provides extensive training at all levels, from basic courses for experimentalists to more advanced training for experts. The Biosapiens Network has established a Permanent European School in Bioinformatics (ESB), which is held twice a year in a different country every time. The 2006's course was held in Budapest, Hungary.
 
EMBO/HHMI Central European Scientists Meeting, 2005 Print E-mail
EMBO/HHMI EMBO and HHMI hold annual meetings in the different Central European member states. The first meeting took place in Warsaw in May 2003, the second in Prague in February 2004. The third EMBO/HHMI meeting of Central European Scientists will take place in Budapest. The aim of this meeting is to foster networking within these communities, to provide a forum for discussion of science politics and to inform the communities about international initiatives in support of science in Central Europe.
